The Exway Flex is equipped with an advanced, custom Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) developed in collaboration with Hobbywing. This high-voltage and high-current ESC ensures smooth and intuitive control of the skateboard while offering the ability to adjust ride parameters to suit the rider’s individual preferences.

Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Connectivity

The controller supports Bluetooth 4.0 and 2.4 GHz connectivity, enabling wireless communication with the remote and the Exway mobile app. This allows the rider to adjust acceleration and braking strength, choose riding modes, and monitor real-time parameters.

Automatic Battery Discharge

Additionally, the ESC is equipped with an automatic battery discharge feature that lowers the battery charge to 60% after a prolonged period of inactivity. This helps maintain optimal battery health and extends its lifespan.

Regenerative Braking

By using FOC (Field-Oriented Control) technology in the regenerative braking system, the controller provides smooth and efficient braking while recovering energy back into the battery.

Water Resistance and Safety

The Exway Flex meets the IP65 water resistance standard, meaning it is resistant to splashes and dust. However, the manufacturer recommends avoiding riding in the rain or on wet surfaces to prevent damage to the electronic components.
